Secret Garden
I love visiting my home back in Walnut Creek. I get to see my family, my pets, and my granny's phenomenal garden! If you're ever in the area, you should really stop by the Ruth Bancroft Garden. No big deal, but she just had her 106th birthday!
Anyway, I love how flirty this dress is! The sheer fabric provides such a fun opportunity to play with under layers! It is short, so you might want to throw some shorts on underneath, but it's really up to you! I like to climb stuff in my dresses so... you understand.
I've paired the dress with a pair of standard Lita-style shoes, for additional stomping power, and a statement necklace! I previously paired this necklace with a tie-dye dress and I want to emphasize the versatility that can come from a great statement necklace!

Red, Red Wine
Burgundy is one of my favorite fall colors! It's such an empowering color. Since the weather is still warm, but I want to dress for autumn, this top is a fantastic compromise! The fabric is soft and lightweight. Plus, the deep armholes give you a chance to show off a bit of cute lingerie! ;)
Whenever I browse shoes, I usually just stick to neutrals (i.e. black shoes... like all of my shoes). However, these burgundy booties by Blowfish really caught my eye! I love how the color of the shoes balances out the look. Sometimes, wearing black shoes with black jeans can make an outfit bottom heavy.

Enchanted Forest
I had the honor of modeling for Thera Clothing's site! I loved the fanciful print of this kimono, so it inspired a more whimsical look from me. I stuck with light, flowing fabrics, and some combat boots to ground the whole look. I made these jewelry pieces in a class with Wood Merkaba, so if you ever get a chance to, I highly recommend taking her class (if you live in Indiana).

Candy Kisses
Yes, more lips. I'm not exactly sure why, but I've acquired more lip printed items than ever before (mainly because these are my first and only two items). But, you know? I'm not mad about it. My sister gave me this Motel Rocks shirt and I want to wear it all the time... I guess I feel that way about every new piece of clothing haha Anyway, I love the print, I love the colors, and I love the vibe!
Also, yes, I am wearing a bodychain for a necklace. Fight me about it.

Chattering Skeleton
I've been showing a lot of dresses and evening looks recently, so I decided to do a post about how I do jeans. Unfortunately, because of my height, a lot of jeans are a little long for me! I haven't had a chance to shorten them, so to achieve the look I wanted, I had to cuff them about four times! I loved the distressed look so I chose to pair it with a muscle tee and polish it off with a pair of heeled booties and a vintage Native American necklace!
